Gail (Russell) Littell, ND

OUR DOCTORS:
Dr. Gail Littell is a native Hoosier and founded Hoosier Naturopath in 2017. Dr. Gail serves as the executive director of Hoosier Naturopath. She is the mother of 3 grown children, the grandmother of 12, the step-grandmother of 2, and the great-grandmother of 4. She graduated from the American College of Healing Sciences (Mesa, Arizona) in 1979, has practiced massage and bodywork part-time since 1979, and is a licensed massage therapist in Indiana. Having begun in the fall of 1969 at I.U. Bloomington, then continuing further coursework at Indiana University East and Ivy Tech in the 1980s, Dr. Gail completed her Bachelor of General Studies at Indiana University Southeast (IUS) in 2007 with a concentration in pre-med classes. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario, in 2013. CCNM is a campus-based doctoral program in naturopathic medicine that qualifies graduates for licensure in the U.S. and Canada. Dr. Gail has maintained an active Naturopathic Physician license with the State of Vermont since 2014.

Naturopathy was a natural extension of her lifelong interests which include sustainable and regenerative/organic farming, wildcrafting, research, investigating the natural world, teaching (including home schooling), nature-based health pursuits, family, interacting with various critters, and Bible study. She especially enjoys working side-by-side with family (including her Christian brothers and sisters) toward a common goal, tramping around in the woods, digging in the dirt, and watching rural Hoosiers experience their 'aha' moments as they move in the direction of more stable and resilient health. Dr. Gail is a founding board member of Hoosier Naturopath and currently serves as president and treasurer.
