We believe:
- The Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. When we say inspired and without error, we mean we believe this to be verbal, plenary, infallible, and inerrant throughout. (Psalm 119:9-11; Psalm 119:105,160; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
- The authority of the Bible is not limited to spiritual, religious, or redemptive themes but includes its assertions in such fields as history and science. (Job 38-41; Proverbs 30:5-6)
- The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning, and all issues of interpretation and meaning shall be determined by the consensus among the Directors. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
- The Godhead. There is one God, the only true God, infinitely perfect, unchanging, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6: 4-5; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-4; John 10:30; Acts 17:24-28; Romans 1:19-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 1:15-17; 1 John 5:7)
- The Person and Work of Jesus Christ. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, fully God and fully man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death by which His shed blood was given once for the atonement of all, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father to sit as the believers’ High Priest and Advocate, the head of the church which is His body, that He is the one mediator between God and man. We believe that He was sent by the Father in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-4, John1:14,29; Acts 1:9-11; Acts 2:22-25; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-20; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 1:2-3,13; Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 7:28; Hebrews 9:24-28; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:1-2)
- Our Lord Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God and by Him, and for Him, all things visible and invisible were created and are held together. (Psalm 102:25; John 1:1-4; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 1:2-3, 10)

(Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-4, John1:14,29; Acts 1:9-11; Acts 2:22-25; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 2 Corinthians 5:19-21; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-20; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 1:2-3,13; Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 7:28; Hebrews 9:24-28; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 1:3; 1 John 2:1-2)
- The Return of Christ. We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ’s personal return in power and glory to gather all who belong to Him, to judge both the living and the dead, to rule and reign, and to consummate history and the eternal plan of God. We believe in that blessed hope, the personal, imminent return of Christ who will personally and visibly return with His saints. (Daniel 2:44-45; Zechariah 14:3-4, 9; Matthew 24:23-31; Matthew 25:31-34; Matthew 25:41,46; Matthew 26:63-64; John 5:25-30; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Timothy 4:1; Titus 2:13; Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:11-15)
- The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (Psalm 139:7-10; Luke 12:12; John 14:16-17, 26; Romans 8:9-11, 14, 16; 1 Corinthians 2:10-13; 1 Corinthians 12:3-13; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Galatians 5:16; Galatians 5:22,25; Ephesians 1:13,17; Ephesians 4:30; Titus 3:5-6; Revelation 3:22)
- The Personality of Satan. We believe that Satan is a created being, the author of sin and was the instrument in the Fall of Man; that he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire. (Job 1:6-7; Isaiah 14:13-15; Matthew 4:2-11; Matthew 25:41; John 13:2; Acts 5:3; Ephesians 6:11-12; 1 Thessalonians 3:5; Hebrews 2:14; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:9; Revelation 20:10)
- Mankind. Mankind was created in the image of God, male and female, but used his free will to sin, thereby causing sin to enter the world. We believe that all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. That only through personal faith in Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained and only such as receive Jesus Christ through faith are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:6,11,; Genesis 3:17,19; Genesis 5:1-2; Genesis 9:6; Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6; John 12:44-50; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 2:11-16; Romans 3:22-26; Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Ephesians 1:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 1:19-23; Titus 3:4-7)
- Man’s Eternal State. We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Matthew 25:46; John 5:25-30; John 11:25-26; Revelation 20:5-6; Revelation 20:11-15)
- Human Sexuality. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery, hormonal manipulation, or appearance. (Genesis 2:24; Genesis 19:4-7; Leviticus 18:1-30; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1: 26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 1 Corinthians 6:9,18; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 13:4)
- Marriage. We believe that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Mark 10:6-9; 1 Corinthians 7:2; Ephesians 5:31)
- Separation. We believe that all the saved should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Savior and Lord. (Matthew 5:13-16; Luke 24:46-47; Romans 12:1-2; Romans 14:13; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 and 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:22)
- Creation, Sickness, and Death. We believe that God created the world in perfection. Because of man’s sin the creation was cursed and became corrupted and the human body became subject to sickness and death. Regardless, an innate self-healing ability still exists within the body and all human attempts to aid the sick and suffering among us should work in concert with this natural healing ability. We believe that regardless of man’s attempts or failings that God can miraculously heal, but that the ultimate deliverance of the body from sickness and death awaits the consummation of our salvation in the resurrection. (Genesis 1:31; Genesis 2:17; Genesis 3:17; Exodus 23:24-26; Proverbs 3:5-8, Proverbs 4:20-23; Proverbs 12:18; Proverbs 16:24; Matthew 8:14-17; Mark 3:14-15; Romans 8:19- 25; 1 Corinthians 11: 26-32; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22; 1 Corinthians 15:26; 1 Corinthians 15:35-57; Ephesians 6:2-3; James 5:14-16)
- Lawsuits Between Believers. We believe that Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the corporation to resolve personal disputes. We believe the church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. We do believe, however, that a Christian may seek compensation for injuries from another Christian’s insurance company, as long as the claim is pursued without malice or slander. (1 Corinthians 6:1-8; Ephesians 4:31-32)
- Love. We believe that we should demonstrate love for others, not only toward fellow believers, but also toward both those who are not believers and those who oppose us. We are to deal with those who oppose us graciously, gently, patiently, and humbly. God forbids the stirring up of strife, the taking of revenge, or the threat or the use of violence as a means of resolving personal conflict or obtaining personal justice. Although God commands us to abhor sinful actions, we are to love and pray for any person who engages in such sinful actions. (Leviticus 19:18; Matthew 5:44-48; Luke 6:31; John 13:33-35; Romans 12:9-10; Romans 12:17-21; Romans 13:8-10; Philippians 2:2-3; 2 Timothy 2:24-26; Titus 3:2; 1 John 3:16-18)
- Christian Charity and the Sanctity of Life. We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen. (Psalm 139:13-16; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Luke 10:25-37; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
- The Church. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His body, the Church, His bride. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 27; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 5:23,30; John 17:20-23; Revelation 5:9; Revelation 19:6-9)
- Missions. We believe that God has given the church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ we must be ready to share the hope that is within us. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-49; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:20; 1 Peter 3:15; Revelation 5:9)
