OUR CONSTITUENCY - i.e. what we mean by rural.
Hoosier Naturopath uses the U.S. Census Bureau's broadest definition of "rural" based on Census Places; all areas outside urban areas with 50,000 or more people. We go by data from the most recently reported Census (currently the 2010 Census). You can check to see if you are in a qualifying area by looking at the Indiana map found here. Please consult the Census Places map on page 1 of the document (= map below).

* Due to current medical law in Indiana and the subsequent lack of regulation of naturopathy in Indiana, we have chosen to legally protect our doctors, and the licenses they hold in other states, by limiting them to educational activities alone at this time.
